Dear Prospective Member, In 1908, a small team of 23 Des Moines advertising professionals emerged as the first group to address the challenges facing our young industry. Forming the Des Moines Ad Club, the leaders were known locally as some of the most innovative in our field.
Continuing in that tradition, we’re working to exceed last year’s national AAF club of the year efforts! Highlights of the 2008-2009 year will include:
- Additional half- and full-day educational seminars for all of our members — advertisers, agencies, freelancers, marketers, media, service providers and students.
- A renewed emphasis on social networking.
- The launch of our public service campaign for Children and Families of Iowa.
- A major celebration of our 100th year.
In addition, you’ll notice a new, unified look to our brand and our communications. The number one priority on our board of directors is to strengthen the value of our group and your membership by making the AAF of Des Moines even more visible in the Des Moines community.
